A University of Texas at Austin graduate (Hook Em' Horns!) with BS degrees in Microbiology and Medical Technology, who have been in the Bay Area for over 25 years and was in the Greater Houston Area and Austin, Texas before that. I have always loved diving into the inner workings of things. Growing up, my father would have me by his side as he tinkered with electronics, fixed various household items, or read about a new technology. I think that is where I got my curiosity from, always asking "why".

It is this curiosity that led me through a career mining, integrating, and understanding the power of data. Although my career has mainly been in Healthcare, I have also applied my skills to other industries as well.

Crochet is my other passion! Started when I was in my teens and then didn't really do much with it until about 10 years ago where I found it relaxing after a long day of work. It gives me the opportunity to use the creative side of my brain and I love it. I have a collection of throws and blankets, scarves, and sweaters! I'm always on the hunt for new patterns to challenge myself.

 

I also actively volunteer at various local organizations to give back to the community. I feel it is of great importance to support our local communities to ensure we all continue to thrive.
